In German language word for "old town" is "altstadt" it means "historical city centre within the city wall". So Heidelberg is one to be altstadt, and it's a Baroque style old town. We can find this style in architecture, buildings, painting and churches, especially Catholic churches in town.

Heidelberg is a town in Baden-Württemberg situated on Neckar River in south-west Germany.
In 2015 census Heidelberg's population was 156,257, and a quarter of its population being students. So this town well-known as "College Town" as well.
Nowadays Heidelberg is one of tourist destination in Germany, due to its romantic cityscape, including Heidelberg Castle, the Philosophers' Walk, and the baroque style Old Town.
